A West Virginia native, Rachelle considers herself a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll, and she freely admits she tears up every time she hears “Country Roads.” Rachelle brings her twenty-plus years of experience as an entrepreneur to Greenhouse Scholars. Her lifestyle brand, YAY! LiFE!’s products were featured in Oprah Magazine and were sold internationally, distributed to hundreds of independent retailers nationwide, and distributed to over 150 REI retail outlets.
Prior to joining Greenhouse Scholars, Rachelle’s love of dance led her to work as the managing director of Dance To Be Free, a non-profit whose mission is to radically improve the lives of incarcerated women through the healing power of dance. Rachelle is thrilled to be part of the life-changing work of Greenhouse Scholars and to work with such a passionate and talented team—and to be constantly inspired by the Scholars!
When she’s not working you’ll most likely find Rachelle at home snuggling with her husband and her cats and reading or playing NY Times word games.
