Individual Impact Plan

The Individual Impact Plan is a tool to get you thinking about your long-term, big, hairy, audacious goals. It is a living, evolving plan that helps you develop your personal ambitions, priorities, and specific, actionable ideas to create lasting impact.

The Opportunity:

Explaining your goals and outlining the steps needed to reach them helps you put dreams into action. Receiving feedback on your plans from Greenhouse Scholars staff, your mentor, a professional networking contact, and/or personal advisor will allow you to explore ways to improve or sharpen your plan and will push you toward your goals more quickly. Working on your Individual Impact Plan, when done with genuine purpose, will help your ambitions become more tangible and achievable.

Your Accountability:

Each semester, you are expected to leverage feedback and perspectives from the Greenhouse Scholars community of mentors and professional contacts to help you refine your thoughts.

You will submit your plan twice a year with your Mid-Year and End-of-Year Scholar Reflections, due January 20th and June 20th.

Ambassador Program

We’re looking for current Scholars to become program ambassadors and help promote the Greenhouse Scholars Whole Person Program.

Why should you become an ambassador?

  • You love the Greenhouse Scholars Program and want other students from your community to learn more about and apply to the Program!
  • You can have a direct impact on and inspire the next generation of community leaders!
  • You can complete your Presentation at a Low-Income School requirement!
  • You can put it on your resume as a leadership role!

What will you do as an ambassador?

  • Promote the Greenhouse Scholars Program to current high school students, former teachers, counselors, and college advisors.
  • Accompany Program Staff to presentations with current high school students. Minimum 2 visits per year.
  • Schedule and attend your own presentations with current high school students. Optional.
  • Share your story and journey with Greenhouse Scholars.
  • Follow Greenhouse Scholars on Social Media.
  • Post on Social Media about Greenhouse Scholars, and repost any relevant posts by Greenhouse Scholars.
  • Attend ambassador training sessions as needed.
  • Commit to one year as an ambassador, with the option to renew.
