Roya is a passionate humanitarian and dedicated team player, driven by a lifelong commitment to justice and community impact. As an Iranian-American raised in Boulder, Colorado, and Sleepy Hollow, New York, Roya’s diverse experiences shaped her deep interest in nonprofit work and global equity.

After Roya graduated from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service (‘21), she began her professional journey with The HALO Trust USA, supporting the philanthropy team for three years on a range of life-saving, humanitarian initiatives across the globe. Outside of work, Roya channels her creativity through her vintage clothing booth at The Lafayette Flea, and finds joy in live music, the outdoors, time with friends, and the company of her beloved cat, Momo.
