About this role

The Whole Community Program Manager is a primary catalyst for broad-scale community change.

In this role, you will lead programs and initiatives that engage our committed community in creating and scaling projects that drive meaningful impact. This role combines relationship management, program execution, and project leadership to help bring Greenhouse’s most ambitious community impact ideas to life.

Your primary responsibility is to mobilize Greenhouse Alumni aged 30+, donors, and volunteers around initiatives that advance our mission. By cultivating strong relationships and guiding impactful projects from idea to implementation, you will help expand Greenhouse’s reach, deepen our community impact, and ultimately improve outcomes for millions of under-resourced individuals and families.

Through this work, you will foster meaningful connections, help transform promising ideas into action, and scale the impact of Greenhouse’s programs, projects, and entrepreneurial ventures.

What your day-to-day might look like

The Whole Community Program Manager thrives at the intersection of project management, relationship-building, and community impact. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute and continuously improve the components and subcomponents of Greenhouse’s Whole Community Program.
  • Build trusted relationships with Greenhouse Alumni aged 30+, donors, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Help manage a long-term research initiative focused on identifying and solutions for those barriers and solutions for those barriers in under-resourced communities across the country.
  • Facilitate teams of volunteers as they develop ideas into sustainable projects, initiatives, or businesses that create meaningful community impact.
  • Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Greenhouse’s annual virtual Career Fair.
  • Curate, develop, and manage Greenhouse’s online library of personal, leadership, and professional development resources.
  • Plan and deliver an annual world-class Community Change Summit that convenes Greenhouse Alumni aged 30+, volunteers, and donors.
  • Measure program outcomes, analyze impact data, and communicate results through compelling reports, presentations, and storytelling.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An entrepreneurial spirit

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional people management skills, and a collaborative mindset and approach
  • An efficient and organized approach to managing projects and follow-up
  • Experience with executing in-person and virtual events
  • 5-8 years of work experience
  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is mandatory

Compensation
$70,000 – $85,000
