The son of a career Marine, Justin developed an early appreciation for travel and a deep respect for those in service of a higher cause. At Greenhouse, Justin is working to expand the organization nationally by building and growing relationships with leaders, donors, volunteers, and partners.
Previously, Justin was the Strategic Partnerships Manager for Protect Our Winters (POW) during an entrepreneurial growth phase of the nonprofit, where he led development, marketing, and programmatic engagement with strategic partners and global corporate brands.
Justin served 5 years in the Army, including as a Parachute Infantry Regiment Team Leader and Company Intelligence Support Team Leader. He was deployed to Afghanistan with 1-501 Parachute Infantry Regiment and was stationed in Georgia, North Carolina, and Alaska.
Justin graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in Physical Geography, with a focus on GIS and Snow Hydrology and research at the Institute for Arctic and Alpine Research. He also earned a degree in Experiential Education from Garrett College.
Justin loves the natural world and empowering people to see their full potential through outdoor experiences. He spent almost a decade in Telluride as a rafting trip leader, 4×4 guide, Assistant River Operations Manager, and at Specialty Sports Venture. Fascinated by the natural world and empowering people to see their full potential through outdoor experiences. In his free time, you can find Justin snowboarding, riding his gravel bike, traveling, and attempting to learn how to be a better Olympic weightlifter.
