Ananda Birungi is a purpose-driven professional passionate about equity, access, and empowering others to live a life of their choosing and to their full potential. Born and raised in Uganda, her immigrant background fuels her commitment to advancing opportunity, both internationally and domestically, particularly in education and health.

A graduate of Harvard University (’24), Ananda began her career in Rwanda with EarthEnable, a social enterprise building affordable, climate-friendly housing across East Africa. There, she led strategic projects in fundraising and impact evaluation to help scale sustainable housing solutions for low-income communities. A proud Greenhouse Scholar alum (Class of 2024), Ananda is excited to return to Greenhouse as a team member. She brings a deep belief in Greenhouse’s power to unlock potential and a heartfelt commitment to giving back to the community that helped shape her own journey. Outside of work, she finds joy in writing, long walks, and creating nourishing routines that inspire reflection and growth.
