Walker Sanchez

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO BOULDER
Class of 2019

  • Walker’s parents diligently instilled the value of education for their first-born son because neither of them finished high school. He graduated with an un-weighted GPA of 4.0 and is a role model for his younger brother to also pursue college.
  • While interning at JR Butler, a glass company, Walker worked directly with engineers and accountants, and earned outstanding work evaluations every semester for almost 3 years, and was also awarded ‘employee of the month’.
  • For two years, he led the school-sponsored freshman retreats to integrate incoming students; he was also the leader for the junior class retreat.
