Inspire future generations of women to rise, for the countless women before us who were denied the chances we now hold.

Rzan grew up in a family shaped by cultural barriers, with her mother marrying at 14 and her father orphaned young, yet she refused to let history dictate her future and became the first woman in her family to attend college. Driven by faith, empathy, and the belief in Sadaqah Jariyah, a legacy of perpetual charity, she found purpose in healing through leading mental health initiatives at her underfunded high school and discovering her calling in nursing while volunteering in the emergency room at Maimonides. Her relentlessness showed as she fought cultural and religious misconceptions, standing firm in the truth that Islam values women’s education despite pressure to drop out and marry. Rzan envisions a world where care extends beyond the clinic, with presence, compassion, and truth rippling across generations. By pursuing nursing, she aims to be a lifeline for the overlooked and a living testament that kindness rooted in knowledge and courage leaves a legacy far beyond a single lifetime.
