  • With a goal of one day becoming the mayor of Waukegan, Roberto dedicated himself to identifying and addressing issues within his community as a member of the Waukegan Action Team, a group formed to create progress in the community through events with the Waukegan local government.
  • Roberto led his soccer team as captain, both on and off the field, and was also captain of his school’s Scholastic Bowl team.
