Michelle Lehman

Half Salvadorian, Michelle is very proud of her multi-cultural upbringing and enjoys surprising others with her bilingual Spanish-speaking abilities. She often helped as a translator for newly arrived immigrants in her community.
She graduated as valedictorian and is the first in her family to go to college. A teacher of hers stated: “she is a high level creative thinker with a scientist’s mind for analytical thinking and observation.”
As an avid artist, she brought awareness of, and appreciation for, artistic endeavors to her community by creating a program for high school students to create and sell art at the local library, benefiting her high school’s art program.
Michelle was an active National Honor Society member, won local awards with the speech and debate team, and played clarinet as part of the musical honor band.
