Macy has a deep love of, and commitment to, her country. While an undergraduate student at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service—the nation’s leading international studies program—Macy was a participant in the Language Exchange Program, a peer mentor for both the School for Foreign Service and the Georgetown Scholarship Program, and a Peace Fellow with the Advocacy Project. She had the opportunity to intern for Congressman Mark Udall and for the National Democratic Institute. Macy currently works for a government organization in Washington DC and has already given back to Greenhouse Scholars as a mentor and volunteer.
