Luna Ly

Luna was elected Student Body president of her high school, was on the Adams County Youth Council, and started a holiday gift program for local families in need.
Though her high school gives little emphasis on debate, Luna was passionate about it and qualified for the state competition due to her drive and hard work.
She interned for both Kaiser Permanente, a community health program, and for a food sustainability program through GreenLeaf.
Attributes her mother, who supports five children on a nail technician’s salary, with helping her to see value in giving back to her family by earning her education.
