Create opportunities in medicine and community service that inspire, uplift, and open doors for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to succeed.

Kristi Chadha is a Regents’ & Chancellor’s Scholar at UC Berkeley studying Molecular and Cellular Biology with a focus on Neurobiology, alongside minors in Public Health and Rhetoric. Her research spans neuroscience and health disparities, including work on T-cell regeneration in neurodegenerative diseases and breast cancer inequities through the lens of Critical Race Theory. Kristi has presented her findings at USC Keck and contributed to projects with the Los Angeles Pediatric Society, The New York Academy of Sciences, and ThinkNeuro. She’s also the architect of Pathways Bootcamp, a mentorship program equipping low-income students with college access and leadership skills.

As the Founder of Supplies for Humanity Inc., a nonprofit tackling food insecurity through community food drives, she established mentoring programs to support multicultural understanding and academic success among her peers. When confronted by the daunting process of starting a nonprofit, she relentlessly spent months researching, recruiting volunteers, and building partnerships, successfully connecting over 70 families to essential resources.

Kristi envisions a world where socioeconomic circumstances never dictate health and opportunity. She aims to dismantle systemic inequities by creating solutions that ensure fairness and equal access to quality education and healthcare. With aspirations to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, Kristi’s work lives at the intersection of science, justice, and community care.
