Bridge the income gap for minorities through access to quality education.
Kedar grew up in a hardworking Mexican-American family, inspired by his father’s entrepreneurial spirit running a masonry business despite limited education. Determined to close the wealth gap affecting Latinx communities, he founded “Teens in Finance,” a club teaching high school students about investing, saving, and building long-term financial security, while also serving as class president and a bridge-builder across cultures in his school. His relentlessness showed at age 10 when, heartbroken by his family’s debt, he began translating client emails, building financial spreadsheets, and eventually generating significant revenue through a website he built for his dad’s company, all while assisting with paperwork and business formalities. Kedar envisions a future where marginalized communities are equipped with tools for financial freedom, taught early and taught well.
