- Jennifer founded a tutoring program at her high school and rallied 15 fellow seniors to help tutor and encourage underclassmen. She was also one of two seniors selected to represent and welcome new students as an Admissions Leader.
- She interned at a Denver Law Firm and the Colorado House of Representatives, earning her tuition to her private high school.
- Jennifer, who was the primary care-giver for her seven-year-old brother while her single mother worked, is the first generation in her family to graduate high school.
