Holly emphasizes empathy in leadership, and her intelligence and thoughtfulness allow her to take challenges and turn them into opportunities. Originally from Nigeria, Holly witnessed incidents of violence and turmoil. But she also saw that the unstable political conditions in Nigeria bred intense entrepreneurship—with many running their own business to try to defy the odds. Holly saw hope and potential for a better future in business and wants to apply that lesson to a career as a leader in international business and marketing. In high school, she is engaged in international issues as Co-President of the World Affairs Challenge, Vice President of Model UN, Marketing Director of the National Honor Society, a member of the Speech and Debate team, and a volunteer tutor. An excellent student, Holly was recognized in the top 3% of more then 160,000 African American students in the National Achievement Scholarship program.
