Uplifting disabled individuals in developing countries through meaningful opportunities.
Edenya Misgina was raised in Tigray before moving to the United States, an experience that gave her a deep understanding of both hardship and opportunity, and now fuels her purpose-driven leadership. She is passionate about creating a more inclusive world, where people with disabilities, especially in crisis-affected regions, are empowered through meaningful access to tools, education, and support. Her ultimate goal is to establish a nonprofit that addresses these needs globally. Edenya’s determination also shines through her leadership in school-wide initiatives like the Christian Student Alliance, where she helped build a welcoming space rooted in faith and belonging. She envisions a world where no one is left behind due to disability or geography, and where aid empowers rather than defines. Edenya plans to pursue social impact work through advocacy, technology, and public service, building a career that unites her passion for justice with practical, global solutions.
