David was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and graduated from Urban Prep Charter Academy for Young Men – Englewood Campus in 2017. He began his college journey at Illinois Wesleyan University, where he played two years of collegiate football before transferring to Columbia College Chicago, earning his degree in Marketing in 2021. Professionally, he has spent the last four years in entry-level management and sales roles at Sherwin-Williams, gaining experience in leadership, relationship management, and team development. However, his most meaningful leadership role has been serving as Board Chairman for Jusco’s Special Abilities Recreation Center (JSARC), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals — especially youth — on the autism spectrum. At JSARC, he found purpose and impact in helping create accessible spaces and life-skills programming for those often overlooked. In college, a football injury shifted the course of his life and left him questioning his purpose. That moment of loss, paired with the challenges of growing up in an under-resourced community, taught him resilience and pushed him to redefine what success and impact truly mean. Greenhouse played a critical role in that transformation, helping him rediscover his value and equipping him with tools to lead with clarity and conviction. His goal is to pour back into his community and help others — especially young people — find purpose and power in their own stories. Greenhouse is unlike any other organization because it doesn’t just invest in academics — it builds a lifelong community of leaders who are committed to transformation, equity, and service. He is proud to be part of that legacy.
