Promote innovation and accessibility of medicine and treatment.
Coleson grew up in a separated household and was displaced from his home in the Black Forest Fire, leaving his family without steady shelter for nearly nine months. During that time, he found comfort in math. A clear and reliable approach that quickly became his anchor. Now, working as a research assistant, he works on projects that blend mathematics with the life sciences, and he’s found a real home in academia. Committed to improving health solutions, he partners with faculty to develop new approaches that leverage his computational abilities. Whether he’s analyzing data, mentoring peers, or staying active in the community, his empathy and determination shine through. Looking ahead, Coleson’s curiosity and compassion will guide his contributions to medicine and his efforts to build supportive communities.
