• Deemed Outstanding Representative on the Denver Public Schools Student Board of Education, Chris was also a commander of a 250-member Battalion, Drill Team, and Color Guard for JROTC.
• Additionally, he was ‘head boy’ of his high school Student Council (equivalent to Student Body president), National Honor Society president, founder of the school’s Guitar Club, and president of an anti-violence club.
• Chris decided to turn his life around after facing family and personal challenges in middle school, instead positively influencing others through leadership positions and community service work.
