Alyssa is originally from Aurora, Colorado, and attended Overland High School, graduating in 2014. She earned both her undergraduate degree (2018) and Master of Social Work (2020) from the University of Denver. She has been a mental health therapist since 2021, after pursuing post-graduate therapy training while working full-time as a hospital social worker, and quickly realized this was the career path she wanted to follow.
Her work focuses on supporting individuals in cultivating the lives they desire—holistically addressing physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. She approaches people’s challenges systemically, considering how societal and personal systems intersect to create barriers or opportunities. Her broader goal is to contribute to systemic, collective change while helping individuals navigate their own paths.
