Alexa Lobato

Alexa was captain of her high school volleyball and basketball teams and president of her local 4-H club, where she was a Grand Champion Steer Showman.
Her academic commitment was exhibited when she traveled four hours a week to attend an algebra class at the closest college in order to challenge herself academically and better prepare herself for college.
For her project on the Spruce Beetle epidemic in North America, she won a bronze medal at the International Sustainable World Energy Engineering Environment Project Olympiad (i-Sweeep).
