Adriana is a first-year medical student at Rocky Vista University. Before medical school, she worked as a Community Engagement Specialist at the Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC), building and maintaining meaningful partnerships. With a background in public health, health policy, and research, Adriana is committed to creating equitable, diverse, and inclusive communities.
She serves as a commissioner on The Denver Latino Commission, sits on the board of The Delores Project, and is a Greenhouse Young Leader Scholar. Adriana holds a B.A. in Public Health and Political Science from the University of Colorado Denver and an M.S. in Microbiology and Immunology from Georgetown University.
