Sarah graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a BA in Communication Studies and then earned her master’s degree in Intercultural Communication and International Development at the University of Sheffield, UK. She has lived in Vietnam, Indonesia, and England. During her graduate studies, Sarah researched changing gender roles among tribes in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. She completed her master’s thesis on the effects of ecotourism on environmental conservation in East Java, Indonesia. Her previous work experience includes the Law Office of John A. Berman, the Family Care Network, and technology company Lifestyle Social.
A Boulder native, Sarah is excited to be back in Colorado to serve her community and empower people to live a life of their choosing regardless of circumstance through her work at Greenhouse Scholars. In her free time, she loves to listen to true crime podcasts, read, and spend time outside hiking, camping, and paddleboarding.
