We are creating results through the transformative power of higher education, by working with the most inspiring role models from these communities, and by launching hundreds of new companies and projects. We are seeking a high-performing, hard-working candidate to join us.

About this role
The Whole Person College Program Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering world-class service and program components to the Scholars and Volunteers in our Whole Person College Program. You are the nexus between our Scholars and our supportive community of mentors, professional networking contacts, Summer Symposium speakers, school administrators, and more.

This position is in our Boulder, Colorado office and is not virtual or remote.

What your day-to-day might look like
As a Program Manager, your most important role is to support the Greenhouse Scholars through their collegiate journey, offering them personal and professional support through the development and management of our seven program components.

You might start your week with an in-person or virtual check-in with a Scholar. In your meeting, you’ll look to understand how their semester is going, what new projects they’re working on, and how you can help them thrive and elevate their community impact. You’ll ensure that their relationship with their mentor is a value-add or identify relationship challenges that you can help manage. Your goal is to help the Scholars leverage and maximize the opportunities that this community provides.

The collegiate journey can present many hurdles for our Scholars, so this role requires critical thinking and collaboration with the Scholars, our volunteers, and our team to help scholars develop critical problem-solving skills. You might end the week reviewing resumes and cover letters for prestigious internships, recruiting speakers for the Summer Symposium, developing content for our customized online learning library, and more.

This role has varied responsibilities, provides a depth of experience, and requires many hats!

This job might be for you if…
You enjoy developing relationships with all types of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. You understand the importance of purposeful communication and how it aids in building and maintaining strong relationships. Even if you deeply disagree with a person, you can still find a way to bridge worldviews to drive positive action. You choose positivity and a solutions-oriented approach when faced with any challenge. You’re a problem solver— unafraid to go at a problem in a new way, ask tough questions, or implement a new solution that hasn’t yet been tried. You are accountable for your work, decisions, and actions and respectfully call others to accountability when needed. You inspire others through your authentic and informed communication style. You possess careful attention to detail and are adept at project management, knowing when to take the ball and run with it and when to stop for a team huddle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop trust, confidence, and a strong rapport with Scholars, volunteers, and other community members to ensure they feel personally supported, informed, appreciated, and engaged.
  • Flawlessly execute and manage several of our Whole Person program components.
