Emily grew up in the Bay Area and then attended Princeton University, where she played volleyball and majored in Sociology. She wrote her senior thesis on the degree to which teacher-student relationships impact female students’ academic aspirations.
After college, Emily moved to Spain, where she fell in love with a slower pace of life and learned to appreciate simple pleasures. When she returned to the states, Emily worked as an Account Planner at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. Wanting to combine her passions for travel and marketing, Emily started an importing business where she sourced and sold ceramic artwork from Italy, France, Spain, and Mexico. Through these experiences, Emily has honed her ability to understand a target audience and connect with them in a compelling way.
Emily now lives in Boulder, CO, where she loves to hike, ski, garden, entertain friends, and travel whenever she can!
