Ari joined the Greenhouse Scholars team in 2018. A first-generation college graduate from California, Ari has earned her master’s degree and is determined to continue making a positive impact within the realm of higher education. As a former professor, Ari has had a wide array of experiences working with under-resourced students. These experiences include working at various universities around San Diego— a borderland city well known for its diverse refugee and immigrant communities— teaching abroad, and working with refugee high school students as a Peacemakers coach for the IRC.
In her most recent role, Ari worked for McGraw-Hill Higher Education, which provided her a new found love for sales, marketing, and fundraising. She is excited to utilize those skills to impart change in her role with Greenhouse Scholars moving forward. Ari and her husband live in Denver with their chocolate lab, Finn—they love all things outdoors, playing soccer, and traveling whenever they get the chance. Ari is excited to continue exploring all that Colorado has to offer.
