Alice grew up along Lake Michigan spending the first half of her childhood in Illinois and the second half in Indiana before moving to Indianapolis to go to Indiana University where she majored in Cultural Anthropology and minored in Psychology.
Upon graduating, Alice completed a year of service as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with Ascend Indiana. During this time, Alice worked with college students from underrepresented backgrounds to find meaningful and sustainable career opportunities. Alice continued to do operations work for Ascend for three more years to help expand the program state-wide. After living in Colorado for over a year and searching for a new way to serve under-resourced college students, she found her way to Greenhouse Scholars as an Operations Associate.
In her free time, Alice enjoys the outdoors, rock climbing, and live music. She has an interest in the way music and art forge pockets of community and vice versa.
