- He developed a passion for leadership with his Army Junior Officers’ Reserve Training Corp and received numerous awards and commendations: Battalion Commander of 200 cadets, Master Flag-bearer, Honor Cadet in Officer Candidate School, Sharpshooter Rifleman, and American Legion’s Scholastic Excellence Award.
